Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.

Dear Residents of Fremont District 5,
I’m Sterling Engle, and I’m running to be your next City Council member because we need a representative who is truly committed to the community, not special interests. For too long, Fremont politics has been dominated by developers and real estate money, leading to development that benefits industry profits over the needs of our residents.
As the youngest Fremont City Council candidate (29), I am proud to stand against this trend. I refuse to accept campaign donations from developers, ensuring that my focus remains solely on responsible development that prioritizes the well-being of our community.
Our city has continued to grow, but often at the expense of the very people who live here. It’s time for a change. We need a government that listens to its residents and creates a genuine sense of community. If elected as your District 5 Councilmember, I will fight tirelessly for the interests of the people of Fremont, ensuring that our city’s growth benefits everyone, not just a select few.
Let’s build a future where our community comes first.
Please Vote Sterling Engle for Fremont City Council District 5 on November 5.
…until the polls close on November 5, 2024.
